Assistant Professor | Northern Kentucky University
Professor of Graphic Design courses within the Department of Art. Teaching
duties include writing and delivering classroom lectures, the creation of
projects, and the guidance of those assignments through the process of critique.
Class size generally range from 20-25 students. A full-time Assistant Professor
course load includes three courses taught per academic semester.
2000~2003
Visiting Instructor | The University of Cincinnati, Raymond Walters
College
Instructor of Design and Fine Art courses within the Communication Design
Department. Began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor and was promoted to the
position of Visiting Instructor. Re-appointed to a second term. Teaching duties
include writing and delivering classroom lectures, the creation of projects,
and the art direction and guidance of those assignments through the process
of critique. Class size generally range from 20-25 students. Some of the courses
taught include: Introduction to Design, Introduction to Computer Graphics
(Photoshop & Illustrator basics), Illustration, Marker Rendering, and
Fine Arts Drawing. A full-time Visiting Instructor course load includes four
courses taught per academic quarter.
1999~2001
Designer | Iacono Productions Inc.
Execution of all creative duties within the various levels of a communication/design
firm. Responsibilities included environmental and scenic design, the creation
of print collateral, corporate identities, advertisements, web design, film
and video graphics, as well as multimedia presentation and animation graphics.
Clients included: Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, Jergens
and The Longaberger Company.
1998~1999
Graphic Designer | Great American Life Insurance Company
Responsibilities included the brainstorming and design of all visual imagery
of the Advertising and Marketing Departments in the Loyal American Life Division.
These included creative direction and design of printed sales materials, internet
publications, web design, corporate identity design revision and advertisement.
